Leo celebrities are the most diva like and prominent celebs
out there. Just look at the list of people born under the
Sun sign of Leo and you’ll know what I mean…Julian
McMahon, Ben Affleck, Sean Penn, Kim Cattrall, Whitney Houston,
Sandra Bullock, Edward Furlong, Martha Stewart, Billy Bob
Thornton, Loni Anderson, Geri Halliwell, Charlize Theron,
David Duchovny, Vanessa Amorosi, JC Chasez, Drew Lachey, Eric
Bana, Melanie Griffith, Antonio Banderas, Robert DeNiro, Madonna,
Hulk Hogan, Halle Berry, Matthew Perry, Matt Le Blanc, Magic
Johnson, Bill Clinton, Fred Durst, Peter Gallagher, John Stamos.
And the list goes on, and on, and on…
Planet spotting in August
- The Sun is in Leo through August 23
- New Moon in Leo – August 5 @ 1.04 pm
- Full Moon in Aquarius – August 20, 3.52 a.m.
- Mercury Retrograde in Leo through August 16 then moves
direct
- Venus is in Virgo through August 18, then moves into
Libra
- Mars, the planet of energy remains in Taurus through
the end of 2005
- Jupiter the planet of luck starts counting down his time
left in Libra – departs 25/10
- Saturn, the planet of focus and discipline remains in
Leo through mid 2007
Leos are ruled by the Sun, so it makes sense that the celebrity
list of Leos is longer than any other – the brightness and
flashing of the paparazzi flashbulbs makes them feel right
at home!
Many of the most famous Leos have gotten married, or had
very public break ups this year – Ben Affleck
pretty much did both! But now married and with
baby on the way to his Aries Alias Jennifer Garner,
he is set. This is a match made in cosmic heaven and will
last. Christian Slater’s recent
break up with his wife and his recent arrest for groping a
woman in NYC is just the start of what we are about to see
from this ‘star’ – who needs all the publicity he can get
to revive his sagging career. He is very much a lion and won’t
disappear off our radar screens without a fight! Same goes
for newly single stallion John Stamos.
His ex wife Scorpio Rebecca Romjin looks
like she is going to marry Sagittarius Jerry O’Connell
– (she must have a lot of fire in her chart
as she keeps hooking up with fire signs). He is definitely
going to be out and about more, trying to stir up the public’s
fascination with him.
Speaking of fascination, Melanie Griffith and
Antonio Banderas, 2 lions married
to each other, are still married! Quite amazing really – as
2 Leos together usually have a short shelf life (think Madonna
and Sean, Bennifer).
Aussie star Julian McMahon is about
due a hot and heavy Hollywood romance. He tends to keep that
part of his life private, but with the success of his movie
and Nip/Tuck, I don’t see him keeping his private life private
much longer.
Charlize Theron is a Leo matched
up with her perfect match, Sagittarian Stuart
Townsend. And while they seem crazy in love,
one wonders if this month’s astro activity could play a part
in a break up between them. Mercury, the planet of ‘think
first then speak’ is out of phase through August 16. And with
Saturn, the planet of focus and discipline in Leo through
mid-2007, there’s a very real chance of one or both of them
saying or doing something silly and ruining a good thing.

Sandra Bullock will announce she
is pregnant – maybe not this month but sometime soon – hence
the rather rushed nuptials. Once Venus, the planet of romance
slides into Libra on the 18th and Mercury moves direct in
Leo, a lot of hidden romances will come out into the open.
It will be interesting to see if we unearth any more clues
about the Pitt/Jolie romance – is
it on or not? Did he leave his Aquarian bride for a Gemini
fling? Or are Sag Brad and Twin Angelina for real? We should
know by the end of August – when a clever paparazzi finally
gets a picture of them kissing or moving in together.
And finally, off the Leo topic for one moment, with Mars,
the planet of passion remaining in Taurus through the end
of 2005 – reconciliation between the two beautiful goats,
Jude Law and Sienna
Miller is in the stars. It’s not over till it’s
over (as Gemini Lenny Kravitz says)…
