December in a cosmic nutshell…
The biggest news in December is the retrograde activity of
Saturn, the planet of focus and discipline which goes out
of phase in Leo early December through mid April 2007. This
is not only going to affect Leos (obviously) but the other
fire signs of Aries and Sagittarius too, along with Aquarians.
More celebs are born under the sign of Leo than any other
sign. Expect to hear from J Lo (pregnant
at last?) Madonna, (a baby African
sister for her new son?), Sandra Bullock
(pregnant)? Saturn is the father figure of the zodiac, the
planet in charge of responsibility and life lessons. When
he goes out of phase, chances are you will feel adrift, as
if you’re not quite sure which path to take and what
you should be doing. Trust your gut instincts at all times
girls and boys – because the most obvious path might
not always be the best one to take. Leos and Aquarians especially
will feel as if they aren’t sure and tentative –
it might be worth holding back on major plans until late April
if possible (getting a mortgage, having a baby or starting
to try to have a baby, buying a new car etc)
And of course, with Jupiter, the Sun, Mercury, Mars and Venus
in Sagittarius at some stage throughout December, it’s
sure to be a month of fireworks. People will tend to say exactly
what’s on their minds too – without putting too
much thought into their words or sentences or if in fact they
are going to hurt anyone’s feelings either. So developing
a tough skin is vital in December and if someone does say
something really insensitive, pulling them up and letting
them know you don’t appreciate their comments is also
a good idea.
The Full Moon in Gemini December 5 impacts the 3rd sign of
the zodiac, the sign of communication, short trips and knowledge.
It also represents the 3rd house of siblings, so these are
all areas affected by the Full Moon. The New Moon December
21 shines in Sagittarius and impacts the 9th sign –
the sign of spirituality, philosophy and higher education.
So December is definitely a month when learning is ‘in’
– when you will feel like finding out pretty much everything
you can find out about something or someone and going into
2007 with a much clearer view of what it is you want to do.
Now, onto more important stuff. The sudden rash of celebrity
break ups…what’s going on??
Blame it on Mercury retrograde – which was out of phase
in hidden secretive Scorpio, October 28 – November 18.
That saw the sudden announcement of Aries Reese
Witherspoon and Virgo hubby Ryan
Phillippe calling it quits, amid rumours of
his affair with Aussie siren Leo Abby Cornish.
Then came the good news that Sag Britney
finally got rid of Aries K Fed (who
is now being called Ex Fed) and left him pretty much penniless
(if you call $350,000 US penniless – in Hollywood, they
do!)
The 2 goats, Sienna Miller and Jude
Law have called it quits for good…but
chances are they may reconcile as they have done before.
Sad news re Taurus Rosario Dawson
and her beautiful boy Cancer Jason Lewis,
who reportedly broke up last month.
Libran Nikki Hilton and Pisces Kevin
Connolly were together for quite a while and
now hate each other…
2 more goats – Orlando Bloom &
Kate Bosworth are no longer together –
and she is quietly fading away…just like fellow earthling
Virgo Nicole Ritchie
And probably the saddest one of all – Cancer Pam
Anderson & goat Kid Rock…who
lasted only 4 months and apparently it is a very bad break
up…he has been out and about at strip clubs crying and
yelling out ‘Pam, Pam’ all night long, while publicly
berating her for her role in Borat…
So why you ask? People simply don’t communicate properly
when Mercury is out of phase. And out of phase in Scorpio
means that hidden agendas and secrets come bursting out of
the closet – like affairs and jealousy and control issues
and financial issues – Scorpio is the 8th sign associated
with sex, affairs, money and joint financial affairs. Plus,
Venus the planet of love and relationships and Mars, the planet
of passion and lust spent a fair amount of time in Scorpio
in November, while Jupiter spent his last 3 weeks before moving
into Scorpio. So blame it on the power of the Scorpion.
Now that the planets are moving into Sagittarius, there is
a much more ‘honesty is the best policy’ vibe
happening. No more hidden agendas, no more lying, cheating
and not evading the press about what’s really going
on.
I just got home from dinner at NorthWest on 79th & Columbus
(co-owned by Matt Dillon) where
I ate with some execs from Sony Music. Apparently things are
not good between Sag Jay-Z and Virgo
Beyonce – she wants to get
married, get pregnant and move the relationship forward. Jay
(who reportedly had an affair with 18 year old Rhiannna)
while Beyonce has been stepping out with an NFL linebacker,
isn’t ready to take the matrimonial plunge.
The Full Moon Dec 5 and the New Moon Dec 21 will definitely
sort this rocky relationship out once and for all.
