What are those Cancer celebs up to?
Cancers have to be some of the weirdest bunch of people ever
assembled. And when you look at the following list, you’ll
know what I mean…

- Mercury in Leo through July 23rd then goes RETROGRADE
through August 16
- Venus in Leo through July 24th, then moves into Virgo

- Saturn, the planet of focus and discipline moves into
Leo July 17
- Jupiter remains in Libra
Just look at the girls – Courtney,
Jessica, Lindsay,
Pam…all make front pages news on
the regular with their antics. As for the men – OJ,
Mike Tyson, Tom Cruise,
David Hasselhoff – talk about publicity
hounds! They love to be in the spotlight and crave fame –
as much as they pretend they’re family men just trying to
get by and raise their kids…they sure go out of their way
to get attention!
And with Mercury, the communicator of the zodiac going out
of phase July 23 – August 16, we are sure to get even more
of a peak into the daily lives of many celebs. The whole Brad
& Angelina ‘thing’ could explode while Mercury
is out of phase – both of them are vulnerable while Mercury
is out of phase – particularly Gemini Angelina. She might
leave a racy message on Brad’s phone and some smart paparazzi
or reporter picks up on it, or be found in a compromising
position with Brad somewhere. So far they have been good about
being pictured kissing or being amorous together – they simply
look like they are friends hanging out and she always has
that kid attached to her hip!
And with self-assured Saturn, the planet of focus and discipline
moving out of Cancer July 17, we are sure to see the gloves
come off in the Lohan camp and with
other Cancers teetering on the edge. If Jessica
Simpson is truly separated from Scorpio hubby
Nick Lachey, we will find out in July, probably after Mercury
goes out of phase. If Lindsay does have an eating disorder,
we’ll know about it – when she collapses again on set or finally
has to head off to rehab like Mary Kate Olsen
before her (and countless others).
A quickie wedding between Cancer Tom Cruise
and Sagittarius Katie Holmes is
in the stars for July – it’s his birthday July 3 and being
such an egomaniac, one wonders if he will get married on his
birthday? I have talked about this match before and it is
a good one – despite their Sun sign clash. I just feel that
he is a master manipulator (like many Cancer men) and has
Katie completely under his spell – like he did with Gemini
Nicole and Taurean Penelope
for a while).
It’s funny when you think that Cancer is the sign of the
mother, yet George W.Bush is happy
to send young men over to Iraq to get slaughtered and tortured
on a daily basis. The whole mothering thing of Cancer has
always intrigued me – as I have yet to meet a Cancer who has
a mothering bone in her body. Sure Princess Diana
loved her boys – that was very evident and she seemed to ‘keep
it real’ for her boys. Pamela Anderson
is another Crab with 2 boys (they were both born July 1st
by the way), but many of the other Cancers seem to be far
too reckless to be good mums or parents – Courtney
Love, OJ Simpson and
Mike Tyson for eg.
Many of the Crabs have blockbuster movies coming out in July
(or already out for July) – Tom, Jessica, Lindsay,
John Cusack, Will Ferrell – so it will be interesting
to see how they fare in theatres while so much is written
about them behind the scenes – especially Tom and this post
partum depression stand he’s on about right now and Jessica
and the state of her marriage, with Lindsay’s weight and emotional
state and crazed father not far behind.
But apart from the Cancers, there is a lot of interesting
activity in Leo – the divas of the zodiac this month. Venus,
the planet of love and relationships remains in Leo through
July 24, Saturn moves into Leo July 17 and Mercury goes out
of phase in Leo July 23 – August 16. Mars, the player of the
zodiac remains in fiery Aries through the end of July (and
was a huge contributing factor to Russell Crowe’s
phone throwing incident in NYC in June). Maybe he could claim
that with Mars, his ruler impacting his sign he wasn’t acting
out of character at all??
Aries and Leos are certainly going to be in the news throughout
July – we just heard news about Leo Ben Affleck
marrying his pregnant girlfriend, Aries Jennifer
Garner and we can expect more surprises from
Leos and Aries throughout July. As we get towards the end
of July, we celebrate J Lo’s birthday
(July 24) and she is always good for some scandal. Being a
cusper – she has a lot of Cancer in her chart and is very
maternal – she looks after all her family and is close to
her mum. Married to Virgo Marc Anthony
she has been quiet of late (I have the feeling that like Tom
Cruise, Marc’s abit of a control freak). Everyday the tabloids
announce she’s pregnant, and the way the stars are, July/August
is the time she will finally confirm the rumours.
Other Leos sure to be in the spotlight late July are birthday
Leos – Matt Le Blanc, Sandra
Bullock, Kate Beckinsale,
Kevin Spacey & Hilary
Swank. Sandra Bullock
has been dating Jesse James for
some time now – a big hulking actor guy who was formerly married
to porn star Janine (for those of you who watch these things!).
She seems pretty settled with him, so wedding/baby news could
be in the tabloids sooner than later. And Hilary Swank has
been married to hubby Chad Lowe for eons - she is sure to
announce a pregnancy or adoption sometime soon.
Fireworks are a sure bet in July – along with the 4th of
July celebrations! Mercury retrograde in Leo spells danger!
Mars, the planet of energy and passion moves into fixed and
stubborn Taurus where he remains through the end of 2005.
Leo and Taurus are both fixed signs – so going into August,
we have some very stubborn and rigid stars and people around
us. Mercury retrogrades motto is ‘whatever can go wrong, will
go wrong’, so watch out! Keep your eyes and ears peeled to
your cable TV, newspapers and magazines (NW magazine in particular!)
Things are going to heat up…even downunder where it is rather
chilly…
