June in a cosmic celebrity nutshell…
The Sun spends most of the month in Gemini – a sign
that is very strong in the entertainment business all over
the world. There are more singer/songwriters born under the
sign of Gemini than any other sign – think Prince,
Lenny Kravitz, Alanis Morissette, Paula Abdul, Sir Paul McCartney,
Kenny G, Kanye West, Tupac Shukur, Barry Manilow, Lionel Richie,
Boy George, Jewel & Judy Garland. And interesting
enough, many of the people mentioned above are have been deemed
to be ‘bisexual’ over the years. Prince,
Kanye West, Lenny Kravitz, Boy George are all
‘out there’ when it comes to their extroverted
fashions and sense of style. Prince and Lenny are beyond thin
and petite, but their lyrics are very sexually oriented towards
women, so they are simply working both sides of the marketing
fence in many ways (very business savvy).
And rather than these music stars being bisexual, I think
it’s more than Gemini men are very, very much in touch
with their feminine side, while Gemini women tap easily into
their masculine side. While some people might consider this
to be rather ‘butch’ (perfect example being Kim
Clijsters), it’s nothing to do with being
butch or fay as they say in Europe. It’s that Gemini
is a dual sign – represented by twins – and are
always interested in exploring all parts of their personality
and using their strengths and wiles to their advantage.
Not only musical, Gemini women particularly are great tennis
players. Anna Kournikova, Kim Clijsters, Steffi
Graff & Venus Williams are all Geminis and
all tennis players (well, does Anna really count – she
just looks fabulous in a tennis skirt, and while she didn’t
win a major tournament, she still manages to hang onto her
celebrity and her tennis player status).
The great thing about June is the combo of air and fire energy
- which adds up to one mighty big celebrity bang! There is
an exciting Full Moon in Sagittarius mid month, so June will
definitely be a month of indecision and in many cases, indifference.
Geminis are air signs, ruled by Mercury, the planet of clear
thinking and communication and are usually emotionally detached
and not so tuned in to the water signs who tend to be too
emotional while earth signs are too serious and too much like
hard work! That’s why Gemini Johnny Depp
can virtually play any role – he doesn’t take
himself too seriously! And Donald Trump
can walk around with that hairdo – he really doesn’t
care what people say and he thinks he looks good. Plus, he’s
super rich…that helps of course!
Fire and air signs are lusty combinations that just work
– as do air and air combos and fire and fire combos.
So the planetary play of the Sun in Gemini, the Full Moon
in Sag and Mars in Leo after the 4th means fireworks early
– no waiting until the 4th of July – the 4th of
June is the cosmic blast off date!
What will those risk taking Leos get up to in June I wonder?
They will have unlimited energy and with the Full Moon in
Sagittarius on the 12th bringing an ending to a love affair
or creative dream, no doubt they will be out and about, looking
for new victims and adventures. Madonna
is one Leo constantly in the news about her marriage to Virgo
hubby Guy Ritchie. June is the month
when she will put an end to the rumors once and for all -
in no uncertain style either.
The New Moon in Cancer June 26 is an intense one –
a time when many people will decide that their next ‘big
thing’ is to have a baby, either by adoption or having
one of their own. It will be interesting to see what happens
with Jessica Simpson around this
time – news of a hot new romance could be in the tabloids.
Pamela Anderson is someone who could
pop up yet again on the new romance radar. She may decide
to adopt a girl around this time too – her clucky gene
will kick in with her New Moon. Cancer New Moons bring out
nurturing/baby/commitment issues and all sorts of people will
announce pregnancies and unexpected moving in/moving out news.
The sad break up of Gemini Sir Paul McCartney
and his Capricorn wife Heather Mills can
be explained by the simple fact that Heather is far too ambitious
and needy for laid back Paul right now. Capricorn women are
being driven to succeed by the various astro play in the Universe,
(Jupiter’s retrograding activity in their 11th house
of hopes and wishes for one), while Paul is happy to chill
out – his brain and voice drained by years and years
of performing. Plus, Mercury was retrograde when Paul was
born (and retrograde in Gemini), while Heather has her Moon
in emotionally detached Aquarius, so the communication between
these two has never been fantastic. Geminis are air signs,
Capricorns are earth signs and very often have trouble communicating
and understanding each other – plus with the age difference,
it is made even harder (even though Geminis are known to be
the Peter Pan’s of the zodiac) and always look much
younger than their years (look at Prince, Johnny
Depp, Courteney Cox & Isabella Rossellini for
example).
And the drama unfolding with Cancerian Richie
Sambora, ex wife Libra Heather Locklear,
new lover Cancer David Spade, Aquarian
lover of Richie Denise Richards and
her porno loving hubby Charlie Sheen is
a major soap opera of gobsmacking proportions. How will this
end? And what’s with the back to back Cancer men Heather?
The best match in this whole debacle is the two air girls
Heather & Denise. Hopefully their friendship gets back
on track and they lose their loser men!
Keep your eyes and ears open and peeled for exciting new
developments on the cosmic celebrity front and don’t
believe everything you read or hear. Geminis are always changing
their minds, and what breaks as a divorce or separation today
could be renewed vows tomorrow.
