It’s all about Pisces this month – and what a
weird bunch of people they are! Ruled by Neptune, the planet
of fantasy, they usually have trouble dealing with the real
world. Paying bills, relationships, life – all get them
down at some stage and they tend to view life through rose
colored glasses most of the time (their defense mechanism
against the hard, cold world).
Romantic, sensitive and emotionally clingy, Pisces are probably
the most irresistible sign in the zodiac – the saying
‘you can’t live with them, and you definitely
can’t live without them’ applies to Pisces!

As you can see, any list that has Kurt Cobain,
Karen Carpenter, Liza Minnelli and Elizabeth Taylor in
it…is quite a list! Pisces often deal with substance
and alcohol abuse – Drew Barrymore, Kelsey
Grammer, Johnny Cash, Darryl Strawberry have
all publicly admitted their problems and gone to rehab (some
of them on numerous occasions). Kurt Cobain and Karen Carpenter
both died young and while Kurt shot himself, Karen starved
herself to death. The real world was just too difficult for
these extremely talented musicians and the world lost 2 great
artists far too soon.
Both footballers Fraser Gehrig and
Matthew Richardson like a drink
(or two or three) and have been reported more than the average
player due to their very physical play and their heated arguments
with umpires. They are both very much in the public eye in
Melbourne Australia and tend to get up to off field antics
that infuriate their coaches and supporters – but you
can’t help but love them anyway! Plus, they are great
athletes and good at what they do – just not so good
at dealing with the fame and attention. Same with Lleyton
Hewitt. Half of Australia hate him, half of
the country loves him – he is a great athlete but his
on and off the court tantrums and arguments with the press
keep him in the headlines (right where he doesn’t want
to be!) But then again, he does go and marry a soap star (Cancer
Bec Cartwright), sell pictures of
his baby Mia to magazines…go to court with his ex best
friend over a DVD… so who’s fooling who?

In March, Mercury, the planet of communication and clear thinking
is out of phase most of the month in Pisces. This is never
a good thing – whenever Mercury goes retrograde, Murphy’s
Law of whatever can go wrong will go wrong is in full effect.
Bills get lost, checks go missing, real estate deals fall
through and celebrities stuff up. If Adam Levine
and Cancer Jessica Simpson are on
together for real, we will find out in March. They will get
caught out there kissing in public or might mistakenly tell
someone who tells someone that they are seeing each other
etc.
Nick Lachey is a Scorpio and his
romance zone is directly affected by Mercury retrograde, so
he too is set to take a tumble in the romance stakes, particularly
as Jupiter, the planet of good luck departs his sign for the
next few weeks. Scorpios, Cancers, Taurus, Virgo, Pisces and
Capricorns are all more affected by Mercury out of phase,
but with Saturn out of phase in Leo and Pluto retrograding
in Sagittarius, air and fire signs are also going to lose
some of their energy and fire.
It will be interesting to see how Katie Holmes
and Tom Cruise fare in March –
she’s a Sag, he’s a Cancer and with so much negative
planetary play around they are sure to squabble about something
– publicly or in private – in fact, pretty much
everyone will have some sort of misunderstanding, let down
or drama in March.
In the US they refer to this time of year as March madness
– it is a term used about college basketball –
but I think it is totally appropriate for Mercury retrograde
and for this March in general. Venus and Mars, the planets
that rule our passions and love lives are in Aquarius and
Gemini, air signs. There will be a major lack of warmth, compassion
and sensitivity in March. Feelings will be stomped on easily.
People will break up due to their partner’s complete
and utter lack of caring, celebs included. Libra Heather
Locklear and Cancer Richie Sambora,
Denise Richards (Aquarius) &
Virgo bad boy Charlie Sheen are
just the start of this phase of celebs going their separate
ways due to a lack of communication and respect for each other.
However, I do think that Leo Hilary Swank and
Capricorn hubby Chad Lowe who recently
separated will reunite while Mercury is out of phase and with
Venus in Aquarius (the planet of unemotional negotiations).
It’s interesting to see how many Pisces are with Gemini
partners – Drew Barrymore and
her Gemini man Fabrizio Moretti,
Seal and his twinster wife Heidi Klum and
of course, 2 ex Pisces and Gemini couples – Ivana
Trump & the Donald, Lleyton
Hewitt and Kim Clijsters…and
we know what happened to the last 2 couples! Pisces and Geminis
are both dual symbol signs – Pisces being the sign of
the two fish, Gemini the sign of the twins, so they have that
in common. But being a water sign and an air sign, that’s
about it and unless they have other compatible factors in
their charts, it’s not such a great match.
With the Sun in Pisces and Mercury out of phase in Pisces,
it will feel as if our hopes and dreams about our favorite
celebrities are false in some way. I think March will be more
like a bad reality show than a great movie and we may well
find out stuff about our favorite celebs that we don’t
like at all. March will be a ‘warts and all’ type
of month when it comes to celebrities and we can expect reports
of couples fighting and arguing in public, actors deciding
to back out of deals (like Russell Crowe and
Eucalyptus) resulting in lengthy lawsuits and headlines.
Stay tuned for plenty of thrills and spills in March, but
remember, with Mercury moving direct on the 26th, by April
1st, things could all blow over and we could find that the
‘story of the year’ was all a lot of nothing much
at all…..
